Update on the consultation events for the Sign Language Bill
The sign language bill is currently passing through the Northern Ireland Assembly, we are delighted to confirm our in-person and virtual information sessions to provide an overview of the legislation and opportunities to respond to the consultation.
Each of the sessions will be signed in BSL and ISL. A member of outreach staff will give an overview of the Assembly and how it works, before Committee staff/MLAs will discuss the content of the bill, followed by an overview of the consultation and how you can respond. We will also provide details on additional opportunities to give your views in person to the Committee.
